Users struggled to discover relevant content — the search had a 10% zero-result rate, and generic recommendation lists drove low engagement. We built a dual personalization system covering both search and discovery. For recommendations, we personalized the homepage based on user taste profiles, and on each product page we surfaced similar items and more content from the same creator.
